Young has signed his name below this very brief recount of his life before professional baseball. Note is framed w/color portrait of Young w/image of him pitching as well as etched brass plate that reads "Cy Young - Hall Of Fame 1937 - Career 511-313 - Active 1890-1911." During his 21-year baseball career, Young pitched for five different teams and established numerous pitching records, some of which have stood for over a century. Young compiled 511 wins, the most in Major League history and 94 ahead of Walter Johnson, who is second on the list. Young was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1937.
