Item Description
5.25x15" piece of artboard has original pen and ink art by Reg Smythe for his daily strip "Andy Capp." Three panel art features Andy getting home late from a night at the bar, hoping that his long-suffering wife Flo doesn't give him too much grief. Second panel shows Flo confronting Andy, who says not to believe what her mother told her about him chatting up a barmaid at a particular bar. Flo walks by him and mentions she's going to talk to another barmaid in a different bar, much to Andy's chagrin. First panel has strip of correction tape on text and third panel has inked "Z211" strip designation. Bottom left has editorial sticker/label and art has been signed in blue felt tip pen by Smythe at lower right, w/"Best Wishes!" inscription. Minor corner tip wear, but art still displays Exc.
