Item Description
Art boards range in size from 11.5x12.25” to 13x13.5” w/original pen and ink art by creator George Baker, who has signed at bottom of images. Art is late 1950s-early 1960s for Harvey Publications # 14, 28, 29, and 34. Scenes include: Sad Sack’s rifle going off causing plaster to hit Sarge’s head, Sad Sack in ocean trying to get on door w/General kicking him as ship sinks in background, Sad Sack fixing flat tire which rolls downhill into Sarge, Sad Sack running over top of General’s shoes w/lawn mower. Muttsy the dog is on last two covers. A few margin pencil notes. Image areas will mat and frame to near Exc. appearance. Well drawn and funny.
