Item Description
2.75x4-3/8" paper sticker w/o gummed back (we have offered other examples of this item w/gummed backs) as produced. Macy's department store sticker, designed to be applied to purchased items. Promotes their fall 1940 Superman promotion. Sticker features classic full body image of Superman w/"Macy's Superman Adventure" text and is printed in rwb color. Trace of moisture staining along right margin w/some minor rippling, but staining is only noticeable on back. Front is evenly aged and still displays VF. Rare. Our last example of this sticker sold for $948.
