Item Description
Original cardboard box w/illustrated paper label contains 9.25x12x4.5" deep player. ©1978 DC Comics. Solid state phonograph Model SP-19 by Dejay Corporation. Box has lt. aging/shelf wear but displays Fine. Plays 33-1/3 and 45 records. Player is nicely illustrated on all sides. Top of lid has images from Joe Shuster, Curt Swan and Neal Adams. Large Superman logo and image of Superman bursting through a brick wall. Sides illustrate "Faster Than A Speeding Bullet, More Powerful Than A Locomotive, Able To Leap Tall Buildings At A Single Bound." Bottom of player features "The Superman Story," a bw panel comic retelling Superman's origin. Inside of lid features the art from the cover of "Superman" #300 comic book. Turntable works and player is VF overall. A very hard to find item complete w/the scarce box. Beautiful graphics make this a must-have item for the Superman fan.
