9" tall mostly tin toy w/built-in key is version made in Japan by Yoshiya, 1971. Robot has plastic head and claw-like hands. Toy works and walks forward as sparks are produced and visible behind the red/green transparent plastic inserts on chest and head. A few pinpoint paint nicks but Exc. Box features image of robot in red color scheme and is complete w/original cardboard insert. Lid has one corner split. Scattered lt. wear. VF. A nice robot modeled after Robby from the 1956 sci-fi classic "Forbidden Planet."
