Item Description
Lot of three trade cards, measuring between 3.75x3.75" and 3.5x5.75". For Western Cartridge Co., Parker Bros. Guns and Bailey, Farrell & Co. buckshot manufacturer. Western and Parker cards date to the 1890s while Bailey card dates to the 1920s. Western card shows elderly African-American hunter sleeping against fence as two squirrels inspect gun. Back of card advertises "New Chief" and "Field" shells. .25" sliver off bottom left corner and 1/8" tear along right margin. Back is aged but front displays Fine. Parker card advertises "The Parker Gun" and shows scene w/man about the release birds from cages in pigeon/dove shoot. Back has gun price list. Exc. Bailey card has hunting scene w/hounds and charts different sizes of shot. Back advertises "American Standard Shot." Card has moderate handling wear w/creases and soiling on back. VG/Fine.
