Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains 6.5" long tin litho rocket car w/three-dimensional soft vinyl head for Mirrorman driver. Mirrorman is the titular superhero character of a tokusatsu SF/kaiju/superhero TV series produced by Tsuburaya Productions, airing on Fuji TV from Dec. 5, 1971 to Nov. 26, 1972 for a total of 51 episodes. This was Tsuburaya Productions' first non-Ultra superhero (even though there were concepts that were similar to Ultraman, which became Tsuburaya trademarks). Made in Japan for the Japanese market by Modern Toys, c. 1971-1972. Tin litho has scattered small paint nicks and top fin of Mirrorman's head has some paint wear as boxed, but VF/Exc. overall. Box is complete w/original cardboard insert and packing material. Box has some scattered dust soiling and edge creases/corner tip wear. Fine overall.
