Item Description
Pair of bw stats that have been hand-colored by renowned EC Comics colorist Marie Severin to help the production staff w/color separations for these issues of "Marvel Super-Heroes" that includes issues #21 and #22, published by Marvel Comics in July and Sept., 1969. Issue #21 features "11 Of Marvel's Mightiest" including The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, Giant Man and Wasp, Sub-Mariner and the X-Men. Title/Marvel indica paste-overs as well as character name paste-overs at left. Upper right has watercolor smear and colored stat attached to board has some aging. VF. Issue #22 features the original X-Men fighting the Blob and Daredevil (in his original costume) origin story. Colored stat has paste-over to Cyclop's eyeblast hitting Blob's arm. Exc.
