Item Description
1.25" without maker name. This character was named Jerry Steele and his principal gimmick was a miniature radio in his ring. He was aided by three teen aged sidekicks called The V-Boys, who each wore a sweater with a large V on the front. V-Man debuted in the first issue of Fox Feature Syndicate's V Comics in January, 1942. In the comic book there was a promotional page to form a V-Man club among the readers, who were called the V-Boys and V-Girls. However, the comic lasted only two issues, January and March 1942. This accounts for the great rarity of this club button. Very minor surface marks in reflected light. The button has near perfect centering, fully intense coloring, and outstanding high gloss. Our last example exceeded $350.00. Best condition of the 3 we've seen. Exc., displaying Mint.
