Item Description
15.5x21.75x4.75" deep box contains 16" tall "Dynamic Super Robot Made With Durable Die Cast Metal" as part of Bandai America's "Godaikin" line of "Innovative Series Of Super Robots" released in 1982. Figure was incredibly expensive to produce and purchase (around $90 in 1982). This set was the largest of the series and featured the Japanese anime character Tetsujin 28 (better known to American audiences as Gigantor). Robot comes in cardboard display case w/carrying handle and lift off lid. Robot, accessories and four separate 2" tall "Roboboy" and "Maintenance Robot" figures are contained in original styrofoam insert w/cardboard covering listing parts. Toy features great design "With The Ingenious Use Of Powerful Magnets, Body Coverings Can Be Removed Or Replaced" allowing the internal workings of the robot to be seen. Other features include spring-loaded missile launcher on chest and spring-loaded fists that fire. Box lid shows some wear w/color rubs and corner tip wear. Fine. Contents remains Mint as packaged.
