Item Description
15x16.5" artboard w/onionskin and acetate sheet overlays has original pencil and watercolor art by Jeffrey Oh. Offered here is his original art for 1984 "War Of The Gobots" Golden Books book cover (see Steve Ditko interior art lot #1812). Art area measures 12.25x13" and shows Leader-1 (the leader of the Guardians (good) Gobot faction) in battle w/Cy-Kill (the leader of the Renegade (evil) Gobot faction) w/Scooter attending to damaged car in bkg. Book title and editing instructions at bottom margin. Onionskin overlay shows moderate wear w/heavy creasing at bottom margin, but art itself remains Exc. Art comes w/14.25x22.5" mock-up of cover proof w/onionskin paper overlay covered in editorial notations. This sheet has moderate margin wear but mock-up displays VF overall. Also comes w/"A Golden Book Super Adventure" original art logo on 6.25x8.5" artboard w/onionskin paper overlay which just comes along.
