Item Description
June 20, 1936. 14x22” thin cardboard w/choice color art w/McCoy riding and waving on horseback. Indians and bronco buster are in background. Text at bottom includes “Personally Leading His Thrilling Congress of Rough Riders and Indians At Every Performance”. “Springfield” town name at top. Center right side has faint “Alliance Poster” ink stamp. Two light vertical dust streaks through center from easel on back as stored. Upper right corner tip is missing 1” diagonal piece, other three corner tips lightly creased. VG, but displays bright and clean. Movie cowboy McCoy toured w/Barnum & Bailey in 1936 and 1937, and began his own “Wild West” show in 1938 which only lasted a month.
