Item Description
First is 7/8" litho c.1930 reading "Paul Ash/Greater Every Week Club." Ash and his orchestra primarily played in movie theaters during the 1920s and 1930s including Chicago's McVickers Theater and the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn. He was sometimes billed as the "Rajah Of Jazz." Many upcoming jazz musicians passed through his orchestra including Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Helen Kane and Martha Raye. Three or four pinpoint dots of paint loss but clean and VF. Second is 7/8" real photo button with text "'All In Favor Of Swing Say Aye' Says Tommy Dorsey." This button is from the late 1930s.
