8.5x11” sheet titled “Standards Of Selection For Comic Magazines” has 19 different paragraphs compiled by the editors of “Topix” in cooperation w/the St. Paul Council of the National Council of Catholic Men. Text includes morality, prejudice, dead spirits, obscenity, vulgarity, indecent dress, sadistic tortures. Approved at bottom by Archbishop, dated March 18, 1949. Minor creases. VF. Comes w/ 3x5” handwritten note in ink from New York school teacher and Comic Art Convention chairman Phil Seuling to “Bob” signed “Phil” noting “Here Is An Original From Their Files”.
