Item Description
Set originally came in a plain cardboard mailing box made by Ideal in 1966. Distributed exclusively through Sears department stores. Complete, loose 23-piece set and more. Included are plastic "Sanctuary," vacuform pieces including mountain piece, three tree and rock scenes, three computer consoles, city scape, electrical panel, underground rocket pad, tractor, molded plastic Batplane and Batmobile w/clear windshields, Ray Weapon, Robot, 3" to 3.25" tall figures including Batman and Robin(both in blue and unmarked on bases), both w/gray capes, Thunderbolt, Key Man (The Key), Mouse Man, Brainstorm, Kaltor and Joker. Batman holds Batarang in right hand which is complete. Mouse Man holds syringe-like weapon with nice needle and tail tip. Brainstorm has fist upraised and has pointing finger. Figures have lt. aging and handling wear. Sanctuary didn't have doors and radar/weather vane attachments for top in this set. Vacuform pieces have a few small cracks and aging but overall Exc. This set also comes with hand painted JLA figures of the Flash, Aquaman(with knife), Superman(missing cape) and Wonder Woman missing fire ring. Set is Fine/Exc overall. This is a beautiful set and rarely found this complete, much less with extra pieces as a bonus.
