Item Description
Sweeper is 5.5x8.5x2.5" deep pressed steel w/wooden side panels and rubber wheels, attached metal bracket holds 28" long wooden pole handle. Bissell Carpet Sweeper Co. Licensed by Loew's, Inc., MGM's parent company. 1939. Sweeper features cartoon art of the four main characters in front of Emerald City. Sweeper head shows wear w/some scattered paint nicks/scratches and trace oxidation to sides. Handle shows paint wear, and threads are loose but it would stay in place for display. Scarce Oz item. VG/Fine overall.
