Item Description
Outrageous pair of Size 8 Dr. Marten "Air Wair" boots personally owned by Beatles drummer Ringo Starr. These boots feature a very glamorous design, w/reflective fabric rainbow pattern and shiny silver sequins covering the surface of the boots. Each boot has "Air Wair" stitched tag at top back of boot w/additional text reading "With Bouncing Sole," an obvious reference to The Beatles 1965 album "Rubber Soul." Exc. Boots were obtained by owner of Drum Paradise directly from Ringo and were sold at an AllStarCharity.com auction to benefit Musicians' Assistance Program, a program designed to help musicians and music industry professionals recover from drug and alcohol abuse.
