Item Description
3.5x5.5" w/matte finish. Shows 12 member team in uniform w/manager in the middle and spectators in the bkg. This Schenectady, NY team's roster featured several players of note including Frank Wickware, Chappie Johnson and Harry Buckner, all three of which had lengthy careers in the Negro Leagues playing for many different teams. Reverse is unused but w/some surface paper rubs and minor staining along right/left edges. Front shows only slight edge wear and trace of aging. Clear, sharp image. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
