Item Description
First is c. early 1930s 5-3/8x8.5” mimeograph sheet w/words for “Buck Rogers Yell” written by “Richard Yager Oak Park High School”. Folded as stored. Yager would become Dick Calkins' assistant on the Buck Rogers comic strip, eventually becoming the main artist. Next three items are Canadian c.1937 issued by Vi-Tone Co. under “Vi ‘n’ Tony” imprint. Text is in English on one side and French on reverse. First is 3.5x5.5” individually numbered “Buck Rogers Club” two sided card. Card has pinholes where club button was once attached. Listed as BRG-117 in “Hake’s Guide To Character Toys”. Next is “Buck Rogers Premium List” which opens to 8.5x11”. 19 items are shown w/prices including Wilma Deering and Buck Rogers outfits, helmet, disintegrator, football, knife, water pistol, paint book. Folded as issued. Last item is “VI ‘N’ Tony Sports Secrets” folder which opens to 6.25x11-3/8” w/illustrated six pages including non-Buck Rogers premiums. Folded as issued. All items are VF/Exc. All are rare and first we’ve seen in our 47 years.
