Item Description
11x15.25x3" deep box contains five pairs of 6.75" long vinyl slip-on "Winter Mode" shoes by Diamatsu Kogyo Co., Ltd. c. 1966. Exclusive to the Japanese market. Shoes have vinyl strap w/batsymbol or bow design and fronts of shoes have the following images- of the three Batman pairs, two show Batman running in front of Batmobile, one shows Batman and Robin running. There is also one pair each of Snow White w/Forest Animals and Japanese Oba-Q character. All shoes have original cardboard inserts and comes w/three 1-3/8x1.75" tags w/batsymbol and "Batman" name in Japanese, Snow White and Oba-Q w/Japanese text on backs of each. Tags also notes shoes sold for 320¥. Shoes are unused and aside from some scattered aging to a few shoes, most are NM-Mint old store stock and come w/original tissue paper packaging. Box has graphics of Batman as well as Snow White and Oba-Q. Batman graphic and name in Japanese takes up most of center of box lid. Box shows moderate wear w/dust soiling and creasing. One corner split. VG/Fine. Nice quality and design. One of only a few known examples w/display box. Rare.
