Item Description
"The Rocketeer" is a 1991 period superhero adventure film produced by Walt Disney Pictures and based on the character of the same name created by comic book writer/artist Dave Stevens. Directed by Joe Johnston, the film stars Billy Campbell, Jennifer Connelly, Alan Arkin, Timothy Dalton, Paul Sorvino and Tiny Ron Taylor. Set in 1938 Los Angeles, CA., the film tells the story of a stunt pilot who discovers a jet pack that enables him to fly. His heroic deeds attract the attention of Howard Hughes and the FBI, as well as Nazi operatives. Offered here is a three-piece die-cut cardboard display, meant to be hung w/string. Main piece is 20.5x59" long piece depicting the Rocketeer in flight. 9x47" piece has "Rocketeer" title and 10.75x23" triangular piece has original "June 21" release date and small Disney copyright. Scattered corner tip/edge wear, w/one side of main Rocketeer piece having some creases and lt. wear. Fine overall. Impressive size and great Deco design.
