Item Description
Print features Jack Davis art for Aug. 11, 1973 issue. 15-7/8x19-7/8" mat with TV Guide printed text at lower left has 11x14" opening revealing wonderful graphics of Clark siting on fence playing banjo, surrounded by swooning farm animals. Art by Jack Davis, a cartoonist and illustrator, known for his magazine covers, film posters, record album art and numerous comic book stories. He is also remembered as one of the founding cartoonists for "MAD" in 1952. These portraits were sent to TV stations for promotional purposes. Mat has surface aging and corner tip wear. Fine. Image area has tiny spot of discoloration at upper left w/.25" area of surface lamination off. Displays Exc. o/w. Great piece to frame.
