Item Description
7-1/8x9.25” glossy has nice image of Gonzalez in Lions uniform and squatting between two young boys also in Lions uniforms. Gonzalez has signed in ink across his jersey. Lower right has additional hand inked text in Spanish including date of 1947. Reverse side has “RFM Fotos” ink stamp. Lt aging, minor handling creases visible in reflected light. Reverse has lt. foxing. Fine. Gonzalez was elected to the Cuban Baseball Hall of Fame in 1956. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA and JSA LOA.
