c.1950s. 27" wide by 23" tall overall high quality twill jacket w/lining, cloth-covered buttons and white mink fur collar. Inside has "Forstmann Fashioned By Nob Hill Of California" label as well as Lady Garment Workers Union label. Jacket shows little wear and is Exc. Comes w/LOA signed by Lynn Pupello, the founder of the Harvard Film Society stating that "My Friend Marilyn Monroe, Gave Me Her Jacket In New York City In 1961." LOA goes on to state that these items were sold as part of the 1998 "Help For American Indians" memorabilia sale. Letter also notes transfer of ownership to our consignor w/date of May 12, 1998. A wonderful chance to get a high fashion garment actually worn by a true Hollywood legend.
