Item Description
c. 1940s. 75” metal pin has logo image of lion incorporated into letter “H”. Text loosely translates to “It Takes A While For The Red Wood To Arrive But It Always Does.” Most red color off the logo, tiny bit of gold color off reverse rim edge. Fine/VF. Nice detail. The Habana club was one of the oldest and most distinguished teams in the old Cuban League which existed from 1878-1961. 3-1/8x 4.25” snapshot has nice image of fans holding “1948-49 Almendares" championship banner over stadium railing. Light handling creases, mostly just visible in reflected light. VG. In 75 championship games they played in, they won 25 times.
