Item Description
Large trolley and depot are all tin litho. Both were designed and executed by Disney artist and toy train enthusiast Ward Kimball for C&M Productions and are well made quality pieces. The 5.25" long "O" gauge trolley is working and has light in front along with the "Skipper" who is mounted on a spring. Exc. 8x11.5" thin cardboard "Toonerville Depot" box has applied label on top and text on side "Toonerville Depot Copyright 1987 L. Cain & D. Mayer Original Design By Ward Kimball Made In U.S.A." Lid has lt. foxing and side panel flaps have lt. curling. Fine. Contents are complete with depot to assemble. Characters include Powerful Katrinka, Little Stanley, Tomboy Taylor, Mickey McGuire, Stinkey Davis, Mr. Bing, Suitcase Simpson, and Aunt Eppie Hogg. All are Exc. 4" long "O" gauge smaller trolley is by David O. King, 1980s. Painted cast metal with painted tin roof. Although untested we assume it is in working condition. A few tiny paint chips off window and roof. VF. Nice grouping of these high quality modern issues.
