Panel one has .25x.5" lt. glue stain, otherwise Exc. and well drawn. Harold Teen example is from Christmas day 1947 with 6x19-7/8" image area. Three panels have Harold being kissed by two different girls after giving them presents in the first two panels and then leaving with friend Shadow in snowstorm. Art is signed in ink in panel three by cartoonist-creator Carl Ed and complete with Chicago Tribune copyright sticker. Strip is titled "Santa Claus" in ink in top margin. Reverse has glue stains which do not show on the front, girl's dress in panel two is missing applied Zipatone dot pattern leaving a tan glue stain. Panel three has a very faint inscription from the artist which has faded over time. Fine. Smitty comic strip is from July 21, 1948 and has 6x19.75" image area with four panels. Smitty and Herby are washing the dishes while their parents are away when Smitty's boss Mr. Bailey shows up and strip ends with all three in movie theater watching western.
