Item Description
27 consecutive daily comic strips, each on 6.75x19.5" art board with 5-1/8x18" India ink image area with applied Zipatone shading. Each has three or four panels, and most are signed in ink by long-time Lone Ranger comic strip artist Charles Flanders. Storyline has claim jumpers kidnapping Tonto, another man and prospector Lucky and the Lone Ranger also getting caught. Storyline ends with The Lone Ranger calling Silver to the rescue. Applied zipatone is a bit yellowed in a few places, blank margins have some aging but overall image area on all 27 is near Exc. Well drawn examples. Additional photos online.
