Item Description
Each is drawn in India ink and litho crayon with some white accent paint. First art board is 13.5x16" with 12.75x14.75" image area showing Brooklyn Dodgers symbolic figure in uniform holding sword and wearing LA hat riding on torn New York Yankees jersey in clouds heading toward Los Angeles sign. Art is c. spring 1958 when they made their move. Signed in ink at lower right "Pierotti". Second art board is 12.75x14" with 10x12.5" image area showing Mets symbolic bird nervously missing ball titled "2 Straight Wins". Art is unsigned but by Pierotti. Image area of each is evenly tanned from being matted and framed and placed in sunlight, otherwise Fine/VF. Well drawn examples by a noted cartoonist who worked for the New York Post from 1950 to 1977.
