Item Description
1930s. 5.25x7x2.5" deep thin cardboard box has graphics on front and back of hand holding sparkling pistol with bottom end panel of boy holding pistol in air with flag in bkg. with stars and soldier at right holding sparkling pistol with planes above fortress city. Box has heavy wear and is missing inside flaps on left end with vertical tear along right side. Just Good but great graphics. 6.5" long paint pressed steel gun uses same exact design as Flash Gordon pistol of the same time period. This one has Spirit of '76 decal with text "Siren Sparkling Celebration Pistol" with rwb patriotic design with stars. Decal has a few tiny flakes but 95% complete. Gun works and has loud siren and sparks intermittently. Flint is easily replaced as pistol has special pop-up cover over flint area. Scattered minor paint nicks, lt. 3" scratch but still Fine/VF. A scarce gun in this version. Great futuristic design.
