Item Description
10.5x13.5" with six pages has wonderful front cover art of bear cubs walking and dancing with inset photo at left titled "Murphy & Chance Discussing The Situation" showing Cubs owner Charles W. Murphy wearing a suit talking to Frank Chance who is in uniform with baseball bat resting on his chest. Published by Tomaz F. Deuther Chicago. Covers have scattered lt. dust soil with original owner's name written at top right side corner in lead pencil in 2" area. A few lt. handling creases. 4" seam split has been repaired on inside spine with archival tape. VG. Sheet music was published when the Cubs were heading towards their second National League Championship and their first World Series win. The Cubs had lost the previous year's World Series to the Sox but their 116 wins for the season is still an unbroken record. They would win the World Series in 1907 and again in 1908.
