Item Description
Two items for youth baseball league which was started in 1951 and is still active, celebrating sixty years this year.(See Babe Ruth League button and card #780). Painted plaster plaque is 7.75x12x1" thick with detailed image of Ruth signed at lower right by designer Oesch. Top has text "1957 Babe Ruth League Number" and bottom has text "Booster Of Baseball For Boys". Front has a few scattered chips around edges as does blank back but still displays Fine with original wire hanger on reverse. Pennant is 13.5" long with image of baseball and bat. Scattered insect holes with some lt. dust soil with small bits of missing fabric around right edges. VG. A scarce pair.
