8x9.75" card has wonderful ink drawing of smiling winged bat wearing bow tie and vest saying "Hello, There, Alice!!!" in star filled sky with moon at lower left. Art has inscription at lower right "This Bat Is Drawn For Alice Wilson By Gahan Wilson With His Very Best Wishes 3/10/99". NM. Author, cartoonist, and illustrator Gahan Wilson has had his cartoons with a dark humor published in various magazines including Playboy and the New Yorker for almost fifty years. He received the World Fantasy convention award in 1981, and the National Cartoonist Society Milton Caniff Lifetime Achievement Award in 2005. Well drawn example of Wilson's work and great for display.
