c. early 1980s. 4.5x6x12" tall box has lt. crease by Mickey's diecut ear on front, 2" tear on side panel at flap area, 1.5x3" litho loss on back of box at top. Overall lt.wear to box and dried residue along inside edge of top flap. VG. Toy depicts Mickey Mouse. Finished, hard plastic head and once pliable body. Box states it best "While He Is Durable, Elastic Mickey Mouse Is Not Indestructible." Inner "ooze" has leaked from neck and into inner plastic shell that holds figure, but has stabilized in place. Original inner shell, instructions, fabric shorts and figure are fixed in place by dried stretch "ooze" and cannot be removed from box. Contents have VF appearance as is and still displays nicely in box. One of the more obscure and rarely seen Mego toys. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch and Ted Hake.
