Item Description
©1966 National Periodical Publications made by Allied Chemical Chicago. 8.5x11.5x2.75" deep shrink-wrapped die-cut thin cardboard box has Batman logo on front, Batman pulling rope on right panel, throwing a punch on left panel, and looking at the bat signal on top end panel. Contains plate with Batman and Robin swinging on ropes with bat signal and Gotham in background, cup with Batman running in foreground with Gotham in background, and bowl with image of the Joker grinning menacingly. Plate is upside down as boxed. By the look of the Joker’s face perhaps he had a hand in this! Box has lt. edge wear due to tightness of shrink-wrap but still tightly and completely sealed. Box is Exc. with Mint contents. Extremely rare as boxed and one of only a few known. Wonderful graphics throughout and great for display. From the Craig Warren Collection.
