Item Description
11x14 1/8" mat has 7 3/8x9 7/8" opening revealing wonderful image of Misterjaw sitting in patched innertube fishing. Image is signed in ink at lower right by animator Ed Klein. 1" area just to left of center has barely noticeable minor scuffs just visible in reflected light, otherwise cel has bright and Exc. appearance. Misterjaw was a 34 episode, made for television cartoon series, produced at DePatie Freleng Enterprises in 1976 for the Pink Panther and Friends TV series on NBC. Misterjaw (voiced by Arte Johnson) was a great white shark who wore a vest with bow tie and tall top hat. He spoke with a German accent and was known to mispronounce words. All the shorts were produced by Robert McKimson with co-direction from Sid Marcus. Great for display.
