1936. Made by Daisy Manufacturing Co. 4.75x7.25x2" deep thin cardboard box for water pistol model No.XZ-44. (See item No. 2891). Box has choice lid graphics of water pistol on lid with image of Buck flying through space. Image is repeated on reverse side. Left side panel has directions with "44" and ball shaped spacecraft image, "44" and spacecraft image are repeated on right side panel. Front and back panels each have different illustrations of Buck and space ships. Buck is shown with XZ-44 pistol in hand in every image he is in. Box has some color rubs around edges and some lt. handling creases. Top panel has 1.25" puncture and bottom underside panel has bit of lead pencil writing at top. Side panel is missing two inside flaps. Box has problems but one side displays Fine. VG overall. Box has no fading, deep rich orange-red color makes for nice display. This is the rarest Buck Rogers gun box and only the second example we have offered in our 45 years.
