Item Description
Lot of four. 18x22”. Each folded as issued. One dated 1941. Center of dated one has large copy of letter sent to the president of the Victor Talking Machine (changed to RCA). Dated 1919 from Franklin D. Roosevelt/Acting Secretary of the Navy thanking the company for its “Splendid Assistance And Cooperation” during the war (WWI) effort. Large text above and below letter reads “We Did It Then/We Will Do It Again.” 3x4” lt. water stain at upper left corner. Random handling creases. Fine. Next is smoking (industrious) factories/burning factories. Margin crease. Bright colors. Fine. Third is “Help RCA/Help USA” with shaking hands. 4” long tear with old tape repair on back. Colors remain bright. Bold patriotic graphics. Fine. Last is “USA/RCA/Linked Together For Safety And Defense.” Simple, but bold graphics. Bright color. VF. An interesting lot.
