Item Description
10x11” envelope. ©1943 by Beckley-Cardy Co., Chicago. Illustrations by Mildred Lyon Hetherington. Set No. 715. Envelope has nice illustration of children outside of circus tent. Noticeable handling wear along edges/flap. Does not affect illustration. Displays Fine. Envelope contains numbered set of four 4-section, fold-out panels. Each panel measures 12x36” unfolded. Lower left corner of each panel is numbered with corresponding text to illustration (i.e. No. 1-the start of the parade). Illustrator’s name appears on all 4 panels. Panels are completed by cutting out and pasting appropriate colors to designated areas. A few of the designated areas remain incomplete, however overall each panel is 95% or more complete. A very few paste smudges appear, but do not detract from the brightly-colored illustrations. Panels VF to Exc.
