Item Description
Forty-seven from set of 55, each 2.5x4.75”. Issued in 1963. Missing cards are 2, 7, 11, 18, 29, 34, 49 and 50. Cards are perforated and die-cut so that you could “Re-fold To Make 9 Funny Pictures” with every card. Cards feature many different characters and personalities such as Nixon, JFK, Brigitte Bardot, Whistler’s Mother, boxer John L. Sullivan, Babe Ruth, Charlie Chaplin, Tarzan, General Grant, Eleanor Roosevelt, Jesse James, George Washington, Lincoln, Sitting Bull, etc. Cards also feature newspaper headline designs and humorous advertisements. All are choice N. Mint-Mint and well-centered (difficult to find nice centered examples of these cards). These were hand-picked from packs and are ready for professional grading.
