Item Description
6.5x7-3/8" trimmed illustration board which is segment of daily strip layout page used by Schulz, this being the first panel with "Peanuts" on reverse. c. 1970s. Pen and ink showing Snoopy in long grass with golf club saying "If I'm Still Here When The National Open Starts, Tell Them To Play Through." Piece is unsigned, but by Schulz and one of several different we have offered over the last few years done by Schulz for these golf programs. Various pencil notations at borders. Evenly aged with a .5" and 1" area of faint moisture staining, not affecting illustration. VF.
