Item Description
Large lot includes two 5x7" bw photos and two 8x10" bw photos taken by Glenn Dietz, a newspaper man from York, PA (Hake's Americana & Collectibles' hometown). Photos all feature legendary voice actor Mel Blanc, responsible for the voices of such iconic cartoon characters as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Sylvester, Tweety Bird, Foghorn Leghorn, Yosemite Sam, Barney Rubble and hundreds of others. Back of each photo has "Sunday News Photo By Glenn Dietz" ink stamp. Blanc is featured in each photo wearing same clothes which includes Bugs Bunny tie and tie tack. Two larger photos show Blanc with young fan who is wearing "Daffy Duck" t-shirt. Two smaller photos have pin holes at top corners and are heavily aged as is one larger photo. VG. Other photo Exc. These photos also come with Dietz's 1978 and 1979 York Interstate Fair stage passes which measures 2.25x3-7/8". These passes are Exc. Final item in lot 3.75x7" glossy full-color fan card showing Blanc at his desk surrounded by characters he voiced which has been inscribed "Hi Glenn Mel Blanc" in black felt tip pen. .75" crease in upper right-hand corner.
