Item Description
6.75x21" frame contains original pen and ink daily strip for Apr. 15, 1938. Four-panel strip shows Moon Mullins in jail and looking through phone book to find lawyers to call on telephone. Two panels have Chicago Tribune copyright paste-ons. Last panel is inscribed "To Louie With Best Wishes From His Loving Son Frank Willard." Willard, Moon Mullins' creator, also signed his last name in last panel. Strip has scattered age spotting but art remains bold and Fine/VF.
