Universal. 1954. Original cardboard box reads "Gene Autry's Child's Kit No. 4080." Box shows moderate wear to edges and corners with 2.5" end panel tear but box remains structurally sound. VG. Box is rare. Lunch box band and back panel are cowhide print and front is "Melody Ranch" scene of Gene with lasso on Champion. Box has tiniest traces of wear with a few front panel scratches, most only visible in reflected light. Bottom rims show light wear with two 1/8" - .25" thin slivers of bare metal showing, these are mentioned only for complete accuracy. Comes with "Gene Autry" half-pint vacuum bottle with "Melody Ranch" scene showing Gene playing guitar with Champion. Thermos comes with original cardboard insert and paper band around thermos as well as Universal lunch box template. Original "Parents' Magazine" foil sticker on band remains. N. Mint/Mint overall and as nice a vintage box as any we've seen.
