Item Description
15.5" tall. ©1938 TLR. Composition head, hands, boots with stuffed body. Wears cloth mask, scarf, shirt, pants. Cuffs, belt, holster are made of black oilcloth-type material. Attached to one holster is 3" dia. original paper tag. One side shows image of Lone Ranger on Silver with round image of Tonto. Text reads "Lone Ranger Official Doll/Copyright 1938 TLR, Inc." Back of tag reads "Dollcraft Novelty Co." Comes with two 2.25" cast iron one-piece guns. Not designed to function. Light crease across one holster pocket. 1.5" brass star-shaped badge is pinned on shirt. Above image of Lone Ranger reads in rope-like script "Lone Ranger." Below reads "Hi-Yo Silver." Badge maintains its original bright luster. A 6" dia. by 2.5" tall fabric hat with .5" wide hat band reading "The Lone Ranger" in rope-style script. Hat shows handling creases. Light paint loss to back of head. St. compo stress lines on face. A very nice, complete example. Displays VF.
