Item Description
2.25x4-1/8" on stock. Features soaring eagle in center. Dated June 17, 1856. Convention held in Philadelphia from June 17-19. Color breaking crease along top over the "NAL" in "National" otherwise moderate wear. Fine. This national nominating convention, the first for the fledgling Republican Party, chose Fremont and Dayton for their ticket.
