Item Description
Mostly 8.5x11" three hole punched paper sheets w/copy of art for Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe #3 (Marvel, April 1983) featuring "D-G" (Dragon Man to Gypsy Moth) by various artists that are hand-colored as color guides for the published issue. Original wraparound cover is one stat spread and hand colored. One taped in art correction. Acetate text overlay. Approximately 225 individual sheets, with many duplicates and alternate pages. Pages included from both regular and Deluxe versions. Classic Marvel character style guide-biography series by Mark Gruenwald with art by Ron Wilson, Dave Cockrum, John Byrne, Terry Austin, Keith Pollard, Ed Hannigan, Walter Simonson and more. Characters include Electro, Falcon, Galactus, Ghost Rider and much more. Color artist was Andy Yanchus. Pages have color break notations in pen. Color guides are original to 1983 comic issue. Lt. aging/handling wear. Overall displays VF. Large, extensive lot. From The Archives of Colorist Andy Yanchus.
