6.5x10.25" stat paper sheets w/copy of art for X-Men #108 (Marvel, December 1977) featuring the New X-Men by John Byrne (his first iterior of the historic run) that are hand-colored as color guides for the published issue. Complete cover and 17 story pages. Classic Bronze Age New X-Men storyline "Armageddon Now!" by Chris Claremont with cover art by Dave Cockrum and John Byrne interior. Great content w/Starjammers and Wolverine in Fang costume. Color artist Andy Yanchus. Pages mounted to 8.5x11" copy paper w/Marvel Masterworks X-Men stamped at top and marked up w/new color break notations. Color guides are original interiors to 1977 comic issue and were re-used to reprint as Marvel Masterworks #12 that reprinted issues #101-110. Cover is new guide for Masterworks edition and not from 1977. c. 1990. Slight wrinkling from being colored, lt. aging/handling wear and some tiny edge tears but overall clean. Pages have cut in panels and corrections as part of the creative process. Overall displays VF. From The Archives of Colorist Andy Yanchus.
