Item Description
14.5x20" artboard (w/strips added at left/right for printer purposes, for overall size of 14.5x21-5/8") has pen and ink over blue pencil original art for Dec. 29, 1991 Sunday page by Garfield creator Jim Davis. Sunday page features total of eight panels, including hand-lettered title panel, which also has special New Years-related art w/Garfield and Odie. Sunday page features Garfield solemnly reflecting on the passing of another year, walking by a dying Christmas tree before scaring the wits out of Jon Arbuckle by excitedly embracing the New Years celebrations. Garfield appears in ever panel (even if just a small silhouette seen from outside house in second panel) while Odie and Jon both only appear in single panel. Davis has signed and dated last panel. Third panel has UFS copyright strip. Back has piece of tape w/inked number. Exc.
